Pxley
"I forgot to follow the track. I stepped a few paces from the path, and my familiar world appeared strange to me, like a flower I had only known in bud."
—Rabindranath Tagore, Lover's Gift and Crossing
End of the Journey: Saying Goodbye to Pxley's Travel Stories
From Bangkok to Barcelona to Bar Harbor, I have been fortunate enough to learn about different cultures, traditions, and beautiful locations. These experiences have shaped my life in so many ways.
Pxley was a heartfelt exploration of my personal travel experience stories, from bustling metropolises to serene landscapes. My mission was to inspire others to build their own memorable experiences, offering a free and unfiltered glimpse into the beauty, challenges, and spontaneity of travel.
Sharing my travel experience stories on Pxley alone was insufficient; I needed you to be a part of this adventure. Therefore, as the sun sets on Pxley, I want to take this opportunity to thank a few individuals.
Pxley would not have been possible without the care and support of Mohan and Dan. I remain indebted to you.
Thank you to those that:
subscribed and motivated me to further explore and share my travel experiences;
commented and shared my travel experience stories; and
cheered me on to share a personal side of my otherwise private self.
Limited Archives
The Pxley travel experience stories offered a glimpse into my journeys and experiences as seen through my looking glass. Although I'm no longer adding new stories to Pxley, you can explore past Pxley adventures in the Archives section. Additionally, I continue to update a resources page on Northeast India, which includes stories from the region, travel itineraries for Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Bhutan, and more.
A Reason
My late mother was the one who instilled in me the importance of embracing change and welcoming new experiences. She often told me, "Travel; it will teach you more than any textbook ever could."
I am truly grateful for the chances I've had to explore the world. I hope that you, too, will find the time to embark on journeys and create lasting memories. Remember, life is short.
In his final years, my late father shared a lot of wise advice. I once asked him if he could share just one, what would that be? He paused for a while, smiled, and exclaimed:
"Dance! Find a reason to be happy, and dance."
I have several reasons to be happy and here's what I'm dancing to:
